Here’s What a 1-Day Gutter Upgrade Should Cost You
Today, seniors (even on a fixed income or pension) can afford a modern gutter guard, along with 1-day installation and a 100% no-clog guarantee.
With this new website, you can ‘skip’ the middleman, design a gutter guard that’s right for you, and get (fair) local pricing.

Welcome to week 30 of Wonder Weeks: a year of creativity, curiosity and connections. ☀️ This Week’s Theme: Nature’s Treasures!
🌼 Nature’s Treasures
This week, we’re slowing down and noticing the little wonders all around us. 🌎✨ Children are natural treasure hunters — a shiny rock, a crinkly leaf, or a bumpy pinecone can hold so much magic in their eyes. Nature’s Treasures Week invites your family to explore the outdoors, collect simple treasures, and use them for play, art, and learning. Best of all, it’s free, calming, and deeply grounding.

Activities
🌿 Nature’s Treasures Week Activities
1. Leaf & Rock Sorting Station
Ages 2–6 | Skills: Sorting, classification, early math
Materials: Leaves, rocks, baskets, muffin tin
How to Play:
Go on a short walk and collect 5–10 leaves and rocks.
Spread everything out on a tray or table.
Invite your child to sort them into groups—for example, big vs. small, smooth vs. rough, or by color.
Use muffin tins, cups, or bowls to keep the groups separate.
Count how many are in each group together.
🧠 Why it Matters: Builds math, science, and observation skills.
👶 Level Down: Just sort by “big” and “small.”
👧 Level Up: Create simple patterns (rock–leaf–rock–leaf).
2. Nature Bracelets
Ages 3–9 | Skills: Creativity, fine motor
Materials: Masking tape, small natural treasures
How to Play:
Wrap a piece of masking tape around your child’s wrist, sticky side out.
Take a walk and collect lightweight treasures like petals, grass, or leaves.
Press the items onto the bracelet as you go.
At the end, admire their nature jewelry!
🧠 Why it Matters: Builds fine motor strength and creativity.
👶 Level Down: Stick treasures onto a strip of paper instead of wearing it.
👧 Level Up: Make themed bracelets (all yellow, all round, all smooth).
3. Treasure Rubbing Art
Ages 3–8 | Skills: Art, texture recognition
Materials: White paper, peeled crayons, leaves, bark, shells
How to Play:
Place a leaf (or other flat treasure) on a table.
Lay paper over it so it’s completely covered.
Hold the crayon sideways and rub gently across the paper.
Watch the hidden textures appear like “magic.”
Repeat with other treasures and compare them.
🧠 Why it Matters: Builds sensory awareness and creativity.
👶 Level Down: Use chunky crayons, focusing on just one item.
👧 Level Up: Cut out rubbings and arrange them into a collage.
4. Mud Pie Bakery
Ages 2–9 | Skills: Imagination, sensory play
Materials: Dirt, water, flowers, sticks, bowls, spoons
How to Play:
Set up a “mud kitchen” with a patch of dirt or a bin of soil.
Add water so kids can mix and stir.
Provide spoons, bowls, and sticks for making “recipes.”
Encourage them to decorate their creations with flowers, leaves, or rocks.
Play along by pretending to “order” or “taste test” the food.
🧠 Why it Matters: Pretend play builds creativity and problem-solving.
👶 Level Down: Just explore mixing dirt and water.
👧 Level Up: Add menus or let kids assign roles (chef, waiter, customer).
5. Nature Treasure Hunt
Ages 3–9 | Skills: Observation, exploration, teamwork
Materials: A simple checklist (draw or write), basket/bag
How to Play:
Make a short checklist of items to find outdoors (e.g., a smooth rock, something yellow, a feather, a tiny stick shaped like a Y).
Give your child a bag or basket to collect items.
Walk together and check off treasures as you find them.
At home, spread them out and talk about which was easiest, hardest, or most surprising to find.
🧠 Why it Matters: Builds observation skills and attention to detail.
👶 Level Down: Keep the list simple (find “one leaf, one rock, one flower”).
👧 Level Up: Add harder challenges (find “something that smells nice” or “three shades of green”).
🌱 Bonus for Little Explorers (Toddlers under 2–3)
Sensory Treasure Bin
Ages 1–3 | Skills: Sensory play, curiosity
Materials: Shallow bin, leaves, pinecones, smooth rocks, flower petals
How to Play:
Place natural treasures in a shallow bin or large tray.
Let toddlers explore with their hands—feeling, tapping, and moving items around.
Talk about what they touch (“This rock is cold,” “The leaf is soft”).
For safety, supervise closely and remove small choking hazards.
🧠 Why it Matters: Introduces sensory exploration and descriptive language.
👶 Level Down: Offer just two textures (like leaves and rocks).
👧 Level Up: Hide items under a light cloth and let them “discover” by pulling it back.
🌱 Closing Reflection
As we end this week, take a moment to notice how your child sees the world. A pebble, a leaf, or a pinecone may seem ordinary to us, but to them, it’s a treasure filled with possibility. By slowing down and exploring nature together, we’re not just collecting objects — we’re collecting memories, building curiosity, and strengthening our bond with our children. The real treasure is the time spent side by side, discovering the simple magic that has been waiting for us all along. ✨
